I’ve been in love with journaling since I was a teenager and writing has been instrumental in helping me gain clarity of my life while also discovering my purpose. Creating my own journal fits perfectly in my business and aligns with my purpose, to be a light and empower others to be free.
When did it become ok for women to put everyone else’s needs before her own? This way of thinking has caused you to feel unhappy with your life and you’re not getting anything done. We as women wear many hats as wives, mothers, daughters, etc. and it seems everyone needs us more than the next.
I have to admit I wasn’t always as positive as I am today. There was a time when I was all in my feelings and consumed with fear and negative thoughts. I lacked self-confidence, self-esteem and my biggest mistake was thinking I was not good enough to fulfill my purpose in life.
Back in January I read the book The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. I was so inspired by his story on how he completely transformed his life by creating a morning routine that I immediately purchased the book and read it in three days.
The first step towards being free is understanding that your needs matter and in order to live a more fulfilling life you must make YOU a priority.
Who’s to blame for you not accomplishing your goals? Work? Spouse? Family? Or, are you the reason why you’re not getting stuff done? I know that may be a difficult question to answer.
