I’ve been hosting events called the BeFree LifeClass in my hometown of Cleveland, Oh for the past 3 years. However this year I set a big goal that I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and have an event in another state. Let me tell you I had no idea how this was going to happen I just knew it was something that I felt in my heart that I should take action on.

Dream big, right?

I’ve been working my butt off with building my online community and it was late last year that I had this epiphany - I really come alive when I am speaking to groups of women, I get in my zone and I am in flow.

It's like I am on a natural high that I wish I could bottle up and pass it to everyone I know. This is one of the reasons I let go of 1:1 coaching because the thrill I felt in the beginning just wasn’t there anymore.

Call me old school but I love connecting with my audience in “real” life and having human interaction. I love to embrace my community and have inspiring conversations that will motivate any person to want to be better and cultivate a more fulfilling life.

Why Raleigh?

My friend Takenya and I were chatting via text and I was telling her about how I wanted to have an event in another state. She had recently relocated to NC from Cleveland and she told me that I should totally do an event in her area.

I polled my Facebook Support Group, email list and IG page asking where people were from and NC came up the most so I decided that’s where I should go first. Plus people who weren’t necessarily in the area but were close said they would be willing to travel wherever I decided to have an event.

I reached out to my friend Alisha who lives in Raleigh and asked if she wanted to collaborate and she was all in. I've been following her for a few years and I just knew that we would vibe well together and could offer value to each other's audiences.

Purpose, Passion, Action Event

The Purpose Passion Action Event took place on Saturday, October 21st in Raleigh, N.C. The room was filled with women ready to learn how to discover their purpose and figure out what they’re passionate about and simple steps they needed to take action in their life.

One thing that blew my mind was women traveled from GA, MD, VA, SC, and parts of NC - some women drove over 4.5 hours to attend the event. Can you believe it??

We had the perfect venue, HQ Capital Room in downtown Raleigh, that looked like something you would see on Pinterest. It’s a beautiful shared-working space and event venue that if you’re in the area I highly recommend you check it out.

Collaborating with Alisha was perfect in my opinion because we both are walking in our purpose and very passionate about serving our community.

The Purpose Passion Action Workshop exceeded my expectations and I am still in all the feels. I just love that I get to do what I love and teach women how to get unstuck and truly live life versus existing and just going through the motions.

I am so grateful I know my purpose... to be a light and empower others to be free and now I get to share my gifts with the world.

There's no better feeling than to be able to make even a small impact in the world and know someone's life will be better as a result of something I shared.

Our Mission

Alisha and I spent a lot of time preparing for the workshop making sure we covered every little detail so that the attendees would walk away feeling empowered and motivated to show up for themselves.

During this 4-hour workshop we taught the following...

  • How to dig deeper into discovering your purpose

  • How to figure out what you’re passionate about

  • Practical steps to help you start to take action in your life

We also created workbooks so that as we taught the attendees were able to take notes and have something to refer back to later. We included interactive exercises so the group could learn from one another and see that they weren't alone on their journey. The content was well received and I appreciate that the attendees were not afraid to ask questions and support each other.

Here's what a few of our attendees had to say…

I learned a lot about organizing my passions and skills and molding that into a future career. Also I learned that I should make more short term goals for myself and tell my family around me to hold me accountable.
— Jasmine E. -Augusta, GA

I really loved this event! So much positive energy in the room and with Siobhan and Alisha. I loved digging deep and thinking about my purpose, passion, and now putting this into action. I hope to attend future events. A huge thank you!
— Lynda M. - Baltimore, MD

The event was amazing! I’ll definitely return and bring friends for future events. I think that the intention is great and that it connects a lot of great people together.
— Daeja W. - Raleigh, NC

The price point was great. It was interactive and very hands on. Leaving with a clear goal to focus on will help me finish the year strong. The swag was AMAZING!!!
— Jeanette B. - Greenville, SC

I didn’t expect to leave with confidence in myself. I have been struggling with this for a little while now, and knowing that there are ladies, that look like me, are going through the same feelings and struggles as I am is a great feeling of not feeling alone. I really appreciated how open everyone was with each other.
— Genesis Doubledee, Raleigh, NC

Our sponsors rock!

I am grateful for every single woman that attended the Purpose, Passion, Action Workshop and my hope is that every single person walked away feeling empowered and motivated to take action in their life.

And can I just take a quick moment and brag on the swag bags. The attendees walked away with financial planners, tea, body balm, natural deodorant, earrings and so much more. Ya'll the swag was amazing!
