Are you holding yourself back? #befreeproject #failure #fear

Who’s to blame for you not accomplishing your goals? Work? Spouse? Family? Or, are you the reason why you’re not getting stuff done? I know that may be a difficult question to answer. I mean who wants to admit that they’re the reason why they're not moving forward in their life. If it’s you, own up to it and start taking responsibility for your choices.

What do you want for your life?

When was the last time you thought about what you wanted for your life? I want you to pull out your journal or notebook and write down exactly what you want your life to look like. Be totally honest with yourself since you’re the only one reading it.

Once you clearly define what you desire for your life, I want you to read what you wrote every single day and actually believe you can have what you wrote down.

I’m currently reading the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and one of the exercises in the book is to write a clear statement about how much money you want to acquire, what do you intend to give in return and set a date for which you plan to acquire what you wrote.

Since I read a lot of personal development books this is not the first time I’ve written down what I wanted for my life. However, for some reason when I did this particular exercise I started having negative thoughts like, how you gonna do that? That’s extreme maybe you should change it to something more realistic and safe. You're never going to be able to achieve that.

I had to tell my inner voice to shut up and I didn't change anything that I had written down. Why? Because I believe I can have whatever I desire, as long as I do the work.

What are you working on?

I've always been a person to make goals and want to get stuff done, however I didn't really start taking goal-setting seriously until I launched my business.

I think when you're doing something that you love or you just want to better yourself then you'll be more intentional about reaching your goals because you're focused on the bigger picture.

Think about what you said you wanted to get done in 2015, are you on pace to cross your goals off of your list. I know, we get so excited in the beginning of the year about all the things we want to get done then something happens and we fall off track.

I want you to get your goal list or vision board out and revisit your goals. Update and make adjustments where necessary. Don't beat yourself up if you're not where you want to be, figure out what you need to do, and commit to doing it.

It’s time to get stuff done!

Don't allow another moment to go by where you're not focused on your goals. Make a decision that everyday you will try and give it your best.
